Bush vs. Bush: Global warming exists

So, this is kind of old news, but up in Canada, the government is anticipating that global warming will open up the lucrative "northwest passage" to the continent, and they want to maintain ownership of it and start using icebreakers to open it up sooner.

Meanwhile, Bush and his corporate sponsors have beaten down claims that the Earth is experiencing global warming. Now it appears they are contradicting themselves, or at least hedging their bets. Bush is fighting Canada to keep them from controlling the northwest passage which shouldn't even be an issue if global warming isn't an issue.

So, get this. Global warming is NOT an issue when it comes to regulating corporate polluters and cars. Global warming IS AN ISSUE when it comes to gaining control of new routes on the ocean being created by global warming. It makes sense. It really does.
