Charles visits "working class" Berkeley
I could imagine that the Prince of Wales might be ignorant enough to call Berkeley a "working class town", but the biggest daily in the state, the LA Times, says this in their article on his visit to the Chez-Panisse-inspired "edible schoolyard":
The attraction in this working class town on San Francisco Bay was a topic close to Charles' heart — agriculture, in the form of the school's innovative "edible schoolyard" project.
